James Clement

Jim began his public accounting career with Price Waterhouse (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) where he worked in the auditing department. He then spent forty-four years with two local CPA firms before joining Puckett, Clement and Schellenberg, P.C., including forty as a principal with Clement & Francis, P.C.

Jim has extensive experience in all areas of public accounting including non-profit and for-profit organizations in a wide variety of industries. He is involved in tax planning and compliance and consulting and problem-solving for his individual and business clients. Jim also has substantial experience handling IRS and state tax audits for his clients.

Education

Jim obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Detroit. He completed the CPA exam in May 1966 and received the Paton Award for the highest score in the State of Michigan for that exam.
