Immediately prior to founding Puckett, Clement and Schellenberg, P.C., Michael was at another local CPA firm for over eleven years, including the last four as a principal of the firm. Michael has been in public accounting since 1995 and also spent two years in private industry. While in industry, Michael worked in the tax department for a large international conglomerate with operations in Walkerville, Ontario, Canada.
In addition to serving as the Managing Principal and President of Puckett, Clement and Schellenberg, P.C., Michael manages a diverse group of clients. He is actively involved in the areas of accounting and auditing, consulting, tax preparation and planning, business valuation, litigation support and forensic accounting. The wide variety of clients that he serves includes both for-profit (corporations, S-corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies) and non-profit organizations, as well as individuals, trusts, and estates. His industry experience includes manufacturing, retail, service, health care, community development, contracting and construction, dealerships, real estate, entertainment, self-insurance funds and employee benefit plans.
Michael works very closely with his clients and continues to actively seek out new client relationships through which he can share his expertise.
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College in 1994. In 1995, he successfully completed the CPA exam and was certified in 1997.
